Opening Cannabis Cured with the Malawi Cob Fermentation Method – Florida Medical Marijuana

A while back I read about the Malawi Cob method of curing cannabis popularized online by a user named Tangwena. The method originates in the traditional curing techniques of the Malawi people and involves tightly wrapping still moist cannabis in banana leaves and in some cases buried in the ground.

Tangwena experimented with various methods of reproducing this curing technique and ended up with the one we see here in the video. Freshly harvested cannabis is best and it is rolled tightly into a cob shape and that is rolled up into a corn husk and then it is vacuum sealed. This kick starts the curing/fermentation process which is supposed to significantly increase the effects of the cannabis.
